What did you (or will you) have read at your ceremony?? that's one thing i haven't yet decided on, and I'm interested in hearing what you each have in mind. Scripture verse? Poetry? Or something sentimental? etc.

Re: Readings
The church gave us a list of suggested readings... I'll see if I can locate it.

Re: Readings
our ceremony was long yes, but i can not tell u how many people still tell us how beautiful it was! we opened the ceremony with a song before anyone even walked down the aisle (steven curtis chapman; I will be here)... 1st reading was Colassians 3:12-17 ; then i had a 2nd song(when God made you; natalie grant&newsong)... Our second reading was 1.corinthians, which my mom thought was cliche but i just love it so too bad! lol...we also had a song during our communion (how beautiful; sandy patty) and then we had 'The Hand Ceremony' read as well... sounds like a lot but it actually made the ceremony very personal & really nice!

Re: Readings
I would like to have this poem read:
Dante Gabriel Rossetti (1828-1882) Sudden Light
I HAVE been here before, But when or how I cannot tell: I know the grass beyond the door, The sweet keen smell, The sighing sound, the lights around the shore.
You have been mine before,— How long ago I may not know: But just when at that swallow's soar Your neck turned so, Some veil did fall,—I knew it all of yore.
Has this been thus before? And shall not thus time's eddying flight Still with our lives our love restore In death's despite, And day and night yield one delight once more?
I am not sure whom I should ask to read it! We are having a civil ceremony at the RH. Our officiant is a judge.
