Who is doing your reading at your ceremony? Our Rev. said he can do them or we can choose people to do our 2 readings. Im not sure who to ask. I dont want to ask my bridal party and my bridal party has my cousins and close friends in it. Who did you choose? Also what readings dd you pick? We choose Love is patient & kind.... but we havnt come up with another one...my pastor said it can even be a poem.

We have 3 readings. My step father is doing one, my cousin and his cousin.
What about having one of your god parents do one? Or an aunt or uncle?

I was thinking about asking my two aunts (one is my godmother) and then maybe one of my cousins who is not in the wedding but Im just unsure.

We asked one of FH's long time female friends and a friend of mine who I am close to but didn't put in the bridal party. We are doing the Apache Wedding Blessing and a poem FH found that he loves.
I don't think you have to exclude bridal party from doing readings. I have been to (and been in) many weddings where I did a reading as a BM or someone in the bridal party did a reading. If it is a BM, they just pass the b-k to whoever is next to them and walk up.
