Ready or not...Sept. 2001

Well, we did it. We booked our chuch for Sept. 2001. Now I feel overwhelmed! I guess I'm joining a big club, huh?

We have a hold on the upstairs room at John Anthony's and will be going in for the final contract signings soon. They explained the whole cocktail hour change-over, and I feel better about it.

Can anyone offer some help before going in for the contracts? Is there something I better make sure to ask about? What exactly should be included on the contract?

Congratulations Kel
We are set for Sept 14th 2001. We looked at 5 different places and liked many of them. If John Anthony's has everything you want GO FOR IT. We found out that Sept dates book up fast.

We (or at least I) really wanted a Sat eve. We booked two weeks ago and ended up with a Fri eve, because every reception place we liked was booked for Sat or if the reception place was available the church as booked UGH!!! So we ended up with Friday.

Terri,

What photographer did you go with?

We were told John Anthony's had a wedding planner, whose services would be free to us. The little booklet with the planner's name contained a whole bunch of different listings for djs, photographers, videographers, and so on...basically just about everything we could possibly need. Did you go with one of those, or did you find someone else?

Go to theknot.com. They have a list of questions to ask the reception hall/caterer. They also have a lot of other useful information.

We're using Mark Kauffman in Port Jeff. We loved their photojournalistic expertise! And, the price was right!

We went with DeJa Vu...we thought that their work was really well done and
their price was right! I heard that they don't really budge with their own
