Real Christmas tree or Artificial + Have you put your tree up yet?

I grew up on artificials but DW wants a real one.. (She grew up on real trees.)

We cut down ours this weekend. My family has always had real and have been going to the same tree farm every christmas for the last 20 or so years.

Dh and I put it up last night... but have not decorated it yet.

DH is allergic to real trees, so it's artifical for us.

My family was always mixed. Sometimes real/Sometimes fake. I don't think we have room for a tree in our place... , so right now, I have a little fake one by our fireplace. It's really pathetic!!

We have always had artificial since weve been married but DH always had real before that. Yes we put it up but havent decorated yet

i've always had real trees...but FH puts up a huge artificial tree right after thanksgiving (he loves christmas) he says this way it lasts longer..I think I am going to put up a real one too...maybe in another room...I love the smell of a real tree!

I grew up with mostly artificial trees but I could go either way. This our 1st Christmas together in our home and we received one of those fiber-optic trees as a sorta hand-me-down (his sister was allergic and INSISTED we have it - so somehow it ended up in our garage whether we wanted it or not ) but we haven't put it up yet.

we also had an artifical growing up but switched to real in my later years.
now with Dh we had real and this and last year got real with the roots so we can plant it. Last year's tree didnt fair too well, we are trying again this year.
