Real or Fake

Real or Fake

Okay girls I have to decide if I should use real tea candles, or the battery operated ones. I will have 10 tables that will have 5 cylinders with floating candles and then 10 tables with Manzanita Crystal trees with three hanging candles (here is where I need to know should I use real or battery operated ones). In addition there will be two small floating candles on the table ofthe trees.

Okay I also will have glass holder along the aisle runner for the ceremony...would the battery ones be good there too?

Sorry it is a lot, but I read somewhere too many candles can make the room feel hot????? Is that true? Thanks anyway.

I think either one is fine. The battery operated ones look great and won't burn out. Better quality tea lights will burn for 5 hours because they don't have 'cheap' oil in them, and they wont burn as hot. Cheaper tealights will burn out in about 2-3 hours.

Thanks, that helps. Do you if there is a way to know what is considered better quality?

Yankee burns the longest...

Colonial candle has a better deal.

Basically, don't buy the large bags for real cheap. The price is a good barometer. Burn time should be listed on the label.

Those are very good!

Smokeless is a good sign that they aren't using cheap oil.

7 hour burn time is the longest I've seen actually for a petroleum candle. I wonder if the wax is soy. Either way, looks good.

Check with your venue about fire codes... Also consider how close the flame would be to anything flammable.
