Real or Fake Rose Petals Thrown After Ceremony

I heard that real rose petals, especially dark ones, can stain your dress and veil.
is this true? The fake ones are just not as good.

The whole idea is to have the real ones also.

I ordered freeze dried rose petals on the internet. they are not supposed to stain. They are sooo pretty.

I like the real ones better. Obviously the lighter you go with the color the safer you are with staining your dress.

I heard that bubbles stain too. Unfortunately our church does not allow seed or rice to be thrown.

I was told by my friend who used rose petals at her wedding that the freeze dried ones are the best, otherwise they might stain your dress.

we used real ones. I think you only need to worry about stains if its like raining out or something like that. I used a really really light pink almost white so i wasn't worried.
