Anybody have real pictures of Levkoff's dresses in tissue taffeta?? I am specifically looking for Indigo, but would just like to see how this material looks in pics. Is this material flattering on everyone??

I smile every time I see a bride looking for indigo. I looked *EVERYWHERE* to find even the smallest picture of a dress in indigo (or a sample dress in indigo) and it was near impossible! (BL only makes samples in the same few colors, so no bridal shop anywhere has samples in indigo). We ended up ordering a yard of the fabric to get a better idea of what the fabric and color actually looks like. I wanted more of a bright blue, not a navy. (If you just want to see tissue taffeta in general, most bridal shops have sample dresses in other colors)
After placing an order for the sample fabricl I found someone random through google that wore the dress I was considering IN INDIGO!!!! She e-mailed me a few pictures. The fabric, once it came in, was also much nicer in person, so we ordered style 555 (my BMs picked it out and it was flattering on everyone).
My avatar is BL indigo, and I have some pictures in my album of a dress in BL indigo, and the same dress in other colors. Over time, a few other BL indigo brides came out of the woodwork. They're out there, but they are all summer 08 brides so we're all still waiting for our BM dresses to come in.

WOW, Thank you!! I just knew I would pick a color that would drive me crazy!! I'm glad to hear that it's not just me that couldn't find it. So, you liked the color when you ordered the sample?? I have a feeling this will be a 'up and coming' color. I guess I am a new member of 'the club' hahaha

I liked the color of the sample, although I wouldn't have minded it looking even brighter! Part of it is that the fabric picks up different colors in the light. When you look at it flat, it looks a little darker but when you bunch it up a little it picks up more of the brighter color. My BM dress has lots of ruching and folds, so it should pick up more of the lighter color and I'm hoping it looks just like the photo in my album (same dress, same color).
This must be a new up and coming color because I think 3 other 08 brides mentioned choosing it since I selected my BM dresses.

Yay I'm one of the new ones! I ordered a yard of the fabric, after BlueGreen08 sent me the pics she had....and I love it! The girls love it too....but, no actual dresses yet as I'm June 08!

I got mine through Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point...my mom is making the flower girl dresses and she's going to use the yard to do sashes (the dresses will be white with indigo sashes)...
