Now i need to start budgeting for invites; photos' limo; DJ & Flowers.
I just don't know what is a realistic budget to expect for any of these categories...
I tried to negotiate every way possible w/the halls. I need to be able to do that with other vendors too. Not going over $10K for the reception; so i'm not going to turn around and spend $3K for flowers; $3K for a dj and another $2K for limos. All other expenses need to come out to about $3K total!!
Can i get my flowers for under $500-$700???? I'm getting married at the hall and all my ceremony decorations are included so i only need bo-k's and centerpieces. But i'm actually thinkig about incorporating candles and floating flowers instead of so much floral-wonder if that will save $$.
Can anyone 1st suggest some really great but inexpensive florist; dj's and limo companies?
I'll probaly do the DIY route for my invites.

Re: Realistic Budgets
Crashing....I can completely relate. My entire wedding budget was $15,000 for a Sat night. My Dj was $1400 for 4 hour reception/ceremony/GOBO/ and lights. My florist was $800 for 10 centerpieces, 2 bouquets and 3 boutonnieres. Limo is $350 for 3 hours plus a return ride at the end of the night. Photography is very expensive....the lowest I have found is $1000 without albums. If you need any additional info feel free to FM me.

Re: Realistic Budgets
I haven't seen anything that inexpensive but I did do away w limos completely in order to save money. Since we are having the ceremony at the RH it wasn't necessary.

Re: Realistic Budgets
Cant wait to hear which one you booked
Florist - go to a local florist .. they do amazing work for an amazing price .. no need to go a big company for that . flowers die, money wasted
DJ - Go with basic package... more than half the DJ's I search had basic package for $800 -$900 ( One man show, no lights, favor, just a DJ)
Limo - use 1 limo or eliminate it all together.. I believe a 2010 bride is using Legend Limo and they do pick up and drop off services for $175. Look into pick up/ drop off if you just want for photo and experience sake
You didnt mention photo and video but I have great photo and video rec for $1500-$2000... let me know and I can FM them to you
You can do it! you just gonna do alot of research to find the quality you want for the price you want..
