Really?!????
Okay...so this morning I got into a fight with FSD. We are still in an adjustment period, and she is a willful child to begin with. She was having a bad morning and really not listening to me, so I yelled at her and then we left for me to put her on the bus.
When I came home I was still really angry, so I took a used up wrapping paper roll and started hitting things in the house with it, as well as screaming and slamming a door...I did what you are supposed to do, which is vent my anger in a non-destructive way.
Not 20 minutes later I have someone ringing my doorbell....THE COPS!!! I couldn't believe it...I thought something had happened and that's why they were there...no, they got a call in with reports of BANGING so they came over to investigate! I told them what happened and they took a report that they were there and nothing happened and left.
The ONLY people that could have heard the banging and called the cops were my downstairs neighbors, and they must be crazy to call the cops on us...they have screaming, yelling arguments with door slamming (read = BANGING) at least a couple of times a week...at 11pm or later!! Sometimes 7am or earlier!!! I never called the cops because I understand that sometimes people who live together fight, and their son is a punk so its gotta be twice as hard. Doesn't mean its not annoying as crap to hear them arguing like that. Next time an 11:30pm fight rolls around though?? The gloves are off!!![]()
