Really...

So FH & I are seeing another before the wedding. We own an antique car and have decided we'd like to take a few pictures with it. We want to go to a local park and do our 'meet' there as well as take pictures. FH will drive the car there and I need a way from my house to the park (literally 5 minutes away).

We only have our limo for 3 hours because orginally we were just getting picked up and going to RH. NOW we're meeting locally near our house so I don't have to limo long enought. I figured i'd call a local limo company and see how much it'd cost for a pick up and drop off. I called All Star (5 minutes away from my house) and ask how much for a pick up and drop off. They can give me a black town car (not the greatest thing) for $100. IF i wanted a nice car (roll royce) they want $400 for A PICK UP AND DROP OFF.... I can't believe that. Really? $400 to literally pick me up and drop me off 5 minutes away?

Anyone else having a pick up/drop off and how much your paying? Does this price sound right?

there's no way for you to get it all done in 3 hours???? if you add another hour to the limo would that be cheaper/easier???

Idk, i have to really sit down and do the timeline... ugh i was fine until last night and now it's like ahhh, all the little things are coming up, making final payments to all out vendors.

The stress is starting to kick in, lol.

The icing to my stress started when they told me $400. I mean literally it'll be a half hour total use of the car.

Im going to look through my contract and see how much it is. I just thought i'd look into a limo close to the house bc our limo company is in queens

first off, 400 is ridiculous...so not worth it.

you will probably take 30 minutes in the park....do your timeline...even with traffic i can't imagine it taking more than an hour and a half to get to the reception hall (and that's a HUGE overestimate). you can take all your bridal party pics at westbury if you have to.

i bet you can make it work.

definitely talk to YOUR limo company. i'm sure they will accommodate you. look to see what your overtime cost is just in case. even if you go over by a 1/2 an hour it's not going to be 400 bucks.
