It's a program the Catholic church makes you complete before they allow you to get married in their church. It's supposed to help you get to know each other better as a couple and make sure you are compatible for one another.

It's also supposed to help you recognize the role of God and Catholicism in your marriage and how faith plays a part in strengthening your lifelong marital committment
