Fh's BM accepted to be BM and then left to go work in Afghanistan as a civilian contractor. Since he left for Afghanistan, FH has only spoke to him twice. The first time was to tell us he may not be able to make the wedding. Then the second time he told us don't change a thing he will be there. Now its 1 and a half months to the wedding and we haven't heard from him. FH sent him a message about tux info he hasn't gotten measured and we don';t even know if he's coming. I told FH he may have to ask 1 of the GM's to step up and be his BM since we don't know if he;s coming or not. I told him im printing up the programs in 2 weeks so he needs to decide. UGHHH I knew this was gonig to happen!

Hmm. well I mean we can't blame him for goign to Afganistan, and it is probably hard for him to think about a wedding, but it is his responcibility, esp as a best man to try his best. My sister is my MOH and she just moved to California a few months ago, and I had words with her about not doing anything for my wedding, esp as a sister and moh. She finally realized, and now she is working so hard, and even booked a flight to come home for my bridal shower (she wasn't going to in the first place) I would just email him and explain how you are feeling. If you realy can't rely on him, would your FH have someone else as a 2nd BM?
