It kind of stinks, but in the mean time FH is sleeping and cant yell at me for being on here all the time!!!

You got rolling quick with this chatting. Your wedding is in 2007! That's great that you're planning so early. I became a member a year ago, but started chatting about 1 month ago.

Me and FH had been talking about this wedding for a year before we got engaged...he wanted my ring to be 'special' so he waited for 7 months to give it to me-though it had already been purchased. I am also planning from SC so I need to do my research and all that other wonderful stuff now-so when I am in NY I can get what I need to get done done.
I am also a very personable person, I love talking to people-especially about wedding stuff!

I love talking about wedding stuff too. I feel like that's all I talk about to people and they want to smack me. Hey, I've been planning nearly 30 years for this day and I'm going to enjoy every minute of the planning.
FH and I talked about getting married long before the engagement too. We had colors picked out, our bridal party and many other things before I had a ring on my finger.

I talk about it to everyone...Im sure half of them want to kill me!!!
One of my BMs cant wait...everyday she wants to know what else I have changed, or picked out-my BM dresses change almost every day! But I have time.
FH doesnt talk to much about it, but I talk to him about it, and he will yeay or nay it...and he gets really excited when I say 'were getting married'
So at least I know he is excited about that much!!!

FH's family is so excited about it! He is the first of the grandchildren to get married and he's from an Italian family. His cousins are telling me that I don't understand how big this wedding is.
Sounds like your guy is the typical FH. Mine is not. He has been making all the decisions with me and is working his tail off. But I'm not your typical bride either as I am not into the frills of planning.

I'm really excited! But I'm nervous on where all the money is coming from to pay it. (We are paying for it ourselves) We have now been engaged for over a year and that first year flew by. We got everything done as soon as we could, so we just need to do the details now. I wouldn't have done it any other way.

Probably sounds wierd, he is your typical and he isnt. When I started looking at invitations he let me do my thing...but when I asked him what he liked and what he didnt like he told me. Same with everything else. He has been very adament about certain things, but others he lets me do. He didnt like the CB from pictures, but when we went in he loved the place, but since I had my heart set on JT he went happily to JT to walk around. Needless to say, he has been better then I expected.
We arent paying for the whole wedding, our parents combined are paying for the catering, we are doing everything else. I still havent figured out where Im getting the money...the numbers look so big on paper.
Im excited for you!!! I wish my wedding was in a few months, but I wouldnt change it, if that makes any sense.

Many brides have told me to enjoy the planning because it goes by so fast. So I'm soaking it all up. I can't believe that we hit the 6 month mark though. Yikes! I wish it were tomorrow.

shhh just dont tell FH how long I was on here. If you could have seen his face when i got my t-shirt...he aske how I got it, and I swear I think he stopped breathing for a minute...He still gives me cr@p about it!!
