Really having a sad week (sorry, long)
Just having a sad moment I guess....
My best friend/MOH mom passed away 3 years ago this week in a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE accident...herk, her husband and her grandson (not my friends son--her sisters) were traveleing to Florida in their Lincoln Navigator, towing a big camper behind them...
Their camper jackknifed...ejected and killed her....the husband and grandson survived....its a long detailed story that I don;t want to get into...But she did have a seatbelt on, and upon investigation, it was determined to be faulty....
MY friend was a new mom--her daughter was about 6 weeks old..her mom was soo thrilled for this granddaughter....
Anyways, it just makes me soo sad to think about..it was horrible 3 yeaers ago and is still horrible today...she was such a sweet lady, who literally did anything for anyone...my friend will never ever be the same...I am sad this week for her, her daughter, husband and her mom...
ALso, I dont know if any of you remember, last year the Station NIghtClub Fire...Great White was the band playing..let off fireworks, the place burnt to the ground, killine 100 people...it was about 20 minutes from y apartment in Cranston, Rhode ISland...I was lucky enough not to lose any friends, but some of my best friends lost friends in it...Friday will be a year since this fire, and I still think about and pray for the families that were destroyed forever....I have been to the site, have cried with the best, and will keep them in my mind....
Sorry, needed to vent..having a sad week with a heavy heart.....
Its a good thing FH and are going away this weekend to Long ISland to do some Wedding stuff...I need a break...
