Re: really overwhelmed

I think it's totally understandable!!! You've put a lot of work into this day and of course you want it to be perfect. It is all going to work out and you will have the best day of your life!!!

Same here... less than 40 and still feel like I am missing something. Hoping it will pass... just don't want to stress so close to the big day.

Re: really overwhelmed

I am a week after you! I feel your pain! Actually, I had so much anxiety in March that I don't think my body will allow me to have anymore at the moment! It kind of became indifferent even though I have a million things to get done in over a month! Just keep making lists and checking off accomplishments! Lists help big time! I have a list of what I need to bring with me teh day of and that helps keep me sane.

Re: really overwhelmed

Have you seen the episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where Debora just takes out the time to sit on her couch and just cry... hahaha just let it all out- the nerves.. the stress & just because... heck, I sometimes get emotional seeing platinum weddings cuz i'm all like look at the ring bearer and the oohs and ahhs and today at easter mass I was overjoyed and tearing like a bafoon at the back of the church cuz in almost a year I'm going to be up there... sooo its completley normal. Becoming someones wife in 40 days is a big deal!!! We are all here to catch the tears of venting ranting and raving and above all joy!!!

Re: really overwhelmed

I actually just started randomly crying on Saturday...nerves and stress. I just spent Sunday doing nothing wedding related and took a break from everything. Hang in there

Re: really overwhelmed

someone told me once to spend an hour a day planning or doing something wedding related so it doesnt seem overwhelming.

Re: really overwhelmed

OMG! I swear I felt like that every day last week!! I went to my mom's house this weekend and went through all of the wedding bins we have and organized everything. I feel so much better about it now! Don't worry, it'll all come together!

Edited for typos!

Re: really overwhelmed

I was a raw nerve for the last two months before my wedding ... crying at the drop of a hat ... everything! I was so emotional! But once the day came I was so thrilled I hardly shed one tear!

You'll get through!
