Really regret

not booking with AJ Ingoglia. It's been on my mind so much lately especially when he posts new trailers.
I am booked with Wild Rose-I really just booked them cause my sister used them and they were great but it was 10 yrs ago. I just love AJ's style. I emailed him last night and I am waiting to hear back from him if he is even available and what his prices are.
Wild rose gave me a great price and they are awesome but just a bit different than AJ.
I put $360 down for Wild Rose for 1st deposit so I assume I will loose that. Ughhh Wish I didn't book my video so quick

I know what you mean....my father is a wedding/event videophotographer and so I pretty much had ZERO choice when it came to using him although he said I could use someone else if I wanted. They have totally different styles. Hes my father, what can I do say no?

I LOVE AJ but the reality is I need to stick with my father, and the good thing is I get to edit all of the raw footage together with my dad however I want.

If you really don't want to loose your deposit then I'd stick with Wild Rose. It really depends on what you are looking for in video. If it wasn't for my father, I would have def looked into AJ too =( I feel ya!

i thought he took off dec/jan/feb this year and figured he was doing same next year but someone on here booked him for feb 2014 i think?

My fh would kill me if I switched knowing I just wasted $! I know he donated a gc for the bridal shower..maybe I will have luck and win that prize

Dont regret not booking him. Your video will be amazing either way. I actually think somone said he is all booked up for 2013...but who knows. Go with your original gut and dont second guess it!

No matter who does your video it will look great! But we are our worst enemies and like to harp on things. I knew I wanted AJ for my video and booked him before any other vendors. The good thing about him is that you pay half of your package the day of the wedding and the other half a few months later when your video is finished. He is amazing and a character! If you are really interested I have his prices for 2013 and you can ask him to send you two full videos of the 1 camera man or two.

Me too!!! I should've booked him. I was being cheap at the time haha. Now I kind of regret it but, it is what it is. All that matters is that my video captures the happiness of the day. Knowing me, I will probably watch it once or twice then it will end up in the back of our closet lol.

You were so set on Wild Rose when we first spoke! I'm sorry you're feeling regret...that's what's hard with booking everything early, you have time to rethink and analyze things. Do whatever will make you happy, but look at it from a bigger picture. In 20 years when videos are completely different than how they are now, are you going to regret booking a different videographer? If it's yes, then go with it! :)

Edit. Maybe if he's booked you can show Wild Rose 'your friend's' wedding video and ask if they can use a similar style when editing? (and just pick your favorite video of his)
