really sad over. . .

. . .the tragedy on the Taconic that happened over the weekend. My mother works at the Floral Park school where the three sisters went--she knew the oldest and the middle girl. I actually went to the FP school where these three girls went. I don't know why I've been ridiculously depressed over this lately. . .I just don't get it. Anybody else feeling this way?

I know it is so sad....I just wish she would have pulled over if she was feeling so sick! Poor kids!

They're now saying that she did. . .but the thing I don't get is how she wound up north of the Tappan Zee to begin with. Was she truly so disoriented that she didn't realize she was heading north instead of south?

I was heading to my aunts house in Croton when this happened and something made me take i87 to rt 9 instead of the taconic...I'm sooo happy I did.

But I do feel bad and sad for all involved and their families.

The story is so sad.
I read today that they found her cell phone at the rest area where she stopped to call her husband. Something must have been really wrong for all of this to happen.

me too...I was in a really bad car accident in High School with a similiar premise. (someone missed their exit and started backing up at full speed into our car)

Luckily we all survived, my Mom is scared for life and not the same person but we are very lucky.

I always pray for the people that are effected in car accidents as its always unexpected and can change lives forever.
