Really Stressin today

I dunno what it is but i have been a wreck today and it is only 12!!!!!

I have my hall and photo/video booked.... but everything else is still up in the air!!!! We are just starting to look at bands, i did not even start florists or the limos yet! A florist asked me what I was looking for, and i could give colors, but other than that I have no clue what i want!

I am so scared that I am not going to be able to pull off anything.... it is just one of those days

Take a deep breath!!! You have still a year to go and that is PLENTY of time to plan your wedding. Limo's can wait... I'd think about entertainment and flowers first and do them one at a time (trying to do everything at once gets overwhelmeing).

And don't forget, this is supposed to be fun!!!

Dont worry about a thing. There are good days and bad days and all the negative things will turn to positive. I dont have ring bands or limos yet, wait are you talking about music bands or rings?? Try out Pedestals, I had no clue as to what I wanted but their showroom is sure to make you get many ideas. Good luck!!

first, take a deep breath! You are doing a great job already!!! you set a date which is a big step and booked the hall and the photographer which are 2 of the HARDEST things to book.

I can make 2 suggestions for you.

If you have no clue the type of flowers you want and want a florist who will take your color scheme and make a beautiful arrangement call Keyth at Lovin Oven Floral Designs. I went in there just knowing my colors are orange and brown and he took care of the rest!

Camelot Limos are also amazing! joe is great. he gives great discounts on LIW brides.

just give these vendors a call whenever you can. I'm telling you they are wonderful!

you have a little over a year so dont stress out...theres ppl who plan a whole wedding in 6 months or less...hey i have 7 months and things left to do and i do freak out at times but somehow things always get done

I meant music bands.....

Rings are not an issue at all b/c the guy that made my engagement ring said he already has an idea on my wedding band...

I know I still have time but i just get fustrated b/c i want everything to be booked by the end of the year

dont worrry you have plenty of time! you still have a little over a year - and some people plan weddings in a lot less time than that! i notice that a lot of girls on here plan way in advances so you might feel behind -but you are fine! everything will be okay!

Do you have your dress? If not I would focus on that, and do music bands and florist in the next month or so. Those are important. Limos are that important

Don't stress...i get overwhelmed too but I'm getting married a few weeks before you and am just doing photographers and djs this week....like one of the girls already said some people do this in much shorter timespans...we have some time and it will all work out in the end.... ok i dont' know if i'm convincing you now or myself....

try not to stress... you really do have a lot of time. i would start looking at dresses if you havent already because those take time to come in.

Please don't worry. That's all we booked before our one year hit. We are now just booking our florist. Next on the list is DJ and limos. You have time still so don't stress!

If it makes you feel any better I am getting married a week before you and have the church, hall and dj.

Trust me you have plenty of time and can get all the big vendors done before the end of the year.

Next I am doing photographer and the hotel block. We need to do that way in advance because we have a lot of OOT guests.

Honestly we probably won't do florist or limos until Jan/Feb.

I would concentrate now on the band and then decide what to tackle after that.

If you want a band recommendation try The Projekt -- the are amazing but aren't cheap.

Thank you girls so much.... i think i am just having one of those days!

I have my priorities in check though.... by the end of November I want to have the band done and my dress. By the end of the year i want limos, florist and HM.... Then i think i will be ok..

aww like you said it is just one of those stinky days- just take it easy you have more than plenty of time to make plans and finalize everything try not to overwhelm yourself.

You definitely have time, try not to stress! I just started planning my wedding for June in August...and I haven't had any problems with things I wanted being booked so far...so you can still make it work! Don't stress too much!! I would start looking for dresses though as that can take a long time depending on how indecisive you are!

Hey Ang, calm down!! You have over a year.

I didn't do limos until my 7th month mark. All you have to do is call Joe at Camelot tell him you know Dana and me and you are golden.

Flowers I did around the 8th month. I walked into the florist and told her I was flower illiterate, they have books, you'll be fine!

Look for dresses whenever you want, that part is fun. Don't lose your mind over it. When you start looking find out how long it will take for the dress to come in and then you will know when you have to order.

I will not let you turn into bridezilla.

And I must have missed your post about becoming an 08 bride. Congrats!!
