My dress is a column shape (even tho it looks mermaid-y it's not -- pics in album). I know I shouldn't wear a poofy slip (because I don't think I even can .......or should), but should I get a slip at all??
I didn't even think of this until I read a thread re: slips on BHB...and it got me thinkin'.
Any feedback would be great

Re: ...really stupid question
I would say no slip - but they do sell aline slips that are fitted. I have one for my dress. There is no crinoline on the top half just on the bottom to fill out. I honestly don't think you need one.

Re: ...really stupid question
im not doing a slip for my gown because i dont want it to be puffy. you can try on a slip or something with it..its up to you!
I'm also not doing a slip because 1) i sweat A LOT and that will just make it worse and 2) one more thing to struggle with when I have to PEE!!

Re: ...really stupid question
i love your dress!!
i don't think it's a stupid question at all...
I think the gown is great as is...but if you WANT a slip then they do make ones that will work with your gown. I think this is all a matter of personal opinion. If you want it...do it.. if you don't...don't. it doesn't need it.

Re: ...really stupid question
My dress is fitted too and I'm not wearing a slip or anything under my dress (there is a satin as the bottom layer and it's very soft). As long as your comforatble and there is no itchy material- I vote no slip....

Re: ...really stupid question
THANK YOU LADIES
The consensus seems to be no slip, and I kind of agree. My dress should be coming in sometime soon (I hope!!) and I guess I'll have to see for sure then.
...also thanks for the compliments about my gown, picking it out was a looooooong process lol
