Sorry if this is extra stupid but I havent met with the priest yet ( Have my first meeting next weekend!) and im not really sure how it works.. how do you pick readers and what exactly do they read? Im so embarassed that I dont know but my family is not religious and most people I know didnt get married in the church - even my FH is clueless!

you pick the readers... and you get to pick from selected readings there are two readings, one the old testament, one the new i think...
then a prayer of the faithful, where you can include stuff like deceased or sick grandparents to pray for..

i met with our priest a few weeks ago and i think they give you a selection of readings - you have a choice of 3 passages for the first reading, 3 for the secnf reading, etc. you can have anyone you want do the readings.
