Really stuuuupid but I need your opinions please! BOUGHT NEW SHIRT!

Stressing about what to wear for epics. We'll be taking them in the city on November 9th. Hoping it'll be warm enough to be wearing either of these jackets. I have a great denim trench that I adore...and a leather jacket that...well, has seen better days. But it certainly is warmer than the denim.

So...would you mind checking out my album called which jacket? and tell me which you think will photograph better? And what do you think of the pants/shoes? Should I go with something slimmer if I go with the trench?

Thanks so much!!! I should just post the pics in this thread but I feel so selfconscious...yet you'll check my album anyway. Yeah, I'm dumb!

UPDATE: Now I've changed to denim jeans and a purple sweater....think I need new jeans? I hate the pics...FH wouldn't get off the couch so it's from a weird angle haha. I added them to my album.

This is why it stinks not living near your mom and sisters! FH is NO HELP whatsoever in deciding on an outfit.

UPDATE AGAIN! FH saw that I was in my pajamas already and he said 'hey, what are you doing in your spongebob pajamas? I was gonna take pics for you!' AWWW he came through!! So now I have two new shirts- can you help me decide between purple, red or green? THANKS!!!

Black jacket, jeans and definitely the green shirt. You look great in the green - imo it's the most flattering and is a little dressier than the sweaters. I personally would stay away from the red sweater - it's very pretty but I don't really like the way the pattern photographs. I'm not trying to be rude or b!tchy, I just want you to look your best!!

p.s. we're taking our e-pics the day after you, also in manhattan. Where are you guys going?

Oh I didn't find you rude at all-I appreciate your honestly!! I totally agree with you but it seems FH and my mom (I emailed her the pic) thought red was best. I'm totally with you on the pattern...and the green fits me best. I'm going shopping today though to settle this once and for all! haha

I'm pretty sure we're going to Central Park- you? I'm kinda hoping I can get our photographer to do a few in Times Square too.

lol...That's what I'll probably end up doing as well...when in doubt - get something new! It's always hard when it comes to fashion, because everyone has an opinion! But definitely let us know what your new top looks like!!

As for the backdrop, we're going to walk around by the pier/seaport. It was hard deciding where to go - there are so many amazing photo opportunities in Manhattan!! Central Park/Times Square is a great choice - your pix are going to be gorgeous with all the beautiful fall colors.

I'm gonna vote for the red. it seems like the color makes you shine. The green is also nice, but I just think in the red you look so much perkier.

Bought a new shirt...absolutely loved it in the store- emerald green. New jeans too!! I've added it to the album- what do you think? I think my posture is lousy which makes the shirt come off weird- the empire seam (you'll see).

I have another shirt I'm thinking of but FH says NO MORE PICTURES! hahaha he's clearly tired of this and just wants me to pick something. He does like the emerald green the best, though.

Let me know what you think of the new shirt. THANKS!!!

I have to say that I love the darker wash jeans, and I was thinking the same thing about the emerald shirt. It's a beautiful color, but the seam cuts your chest in half! I like the light green also, but like some of the others said, brights photograph better! I'm sure you'll look great no matter what!

Thanks...ya know it's funny cuz the seam looked great in the store...I think the reason it looked funny in this pic is that I was wearing another shirt underneath- I wanted to put another shirt underneath it cuz I figured I'd be cold.

Well....FH gave in again- what a sweetie!!! This is my las and final!!! Now I have a different shirt I've had in my closet but never wore....that's the last pic in the album. Not as bright as the others, but it fits perfectly!

that shirt is adorable. The colors all kind of blend together, but this top definitely fits perfectly. I would say this or the light green. I didn't wear bright colors either, but it depends on what you are going for.
You could also take the jacket off for a few shots. I wouldn't want you to freeze, but just to change it up a little bit for some of the pictures. I'm sure your FH will keep you warm! I bet you could get some cute pic's, like you two cuddling with his coat wrapped around both of you!!

What the $%^& is wrong with me?!?! Poor FH....if I was at my mom's I'd be driving her and my sisters crazy, not him! HA HA HA!

I also added a pic of the green shirt with a black tank top underneath, to kind of break up the line...I love how it looks in person...but for some reason in pictures...ARRGH!!

I do agree- when I wear the darker blue top, the colors do all seem to blend together...probably not a good idea.

I don't want to make this more frustrating, but I have to say that navy shirt is my favorite. It's such a cute style, and the fit is excellent. Don't give yourself so much stress. I'm sure whatever you pick will look great. Nobody will even notice what you are wearing, because they'll be looking at how good you and your FH look!

HAHA How'd I know you'd catch that? Yup, I brought them home to disinfect them teehee!! They're the recorders for the bad kids who forget to bring their own to class!

You probably also see the lame Giambi poster on the wall- or even the even stupider Elvis picture. Good thing we're not facing the wall with the giant Steelers helmet! Yes, FH is a man-boy.

Diane, I'm losing it and I think Brett already has. hahaha!! Well...I like the new jeans, but if I go with the dark blue shirt, I think I need to go with lighter jeans. I am SO HORRIBLE AT THIS!!! FH is simply mystified.
