Everytime I try to do any little thing different than any of the template, it completely screws the format of 27 other parts.

Seriously, trying to put together my resume is making me feel completely incompetent

I know exactly what you are saying, which is why I always end up doing a resume on my own.

Aww I never use a template just because sometimes it is more difficult to reformat a template than to start from scratch...

I had to completly abandon MS Publisher for that very reason.
Templates are for dopes that can't think for themselves.

I totally know what you mean. When I was computer lab supervisor in my old local library, people would want to make resumes all the time and when you use the templates from MS Word, it would be difficult to add things for some reason after you put in your information in the template.

There are some good resume programs that we had but we got rid of them at the library. One of them is Resume Writer.

Wendy if you want me to send you my resume you can use it as a template. It is user-friendly

Wendy, we do a resume class where I work. I can send you the document we give out to our students.

We teach how create a resume in Word (not using a template). It's step-by-step how to do directions.

FM me your email address and I'll email it to you you like.
