Really Ticked Off!!

ECKERD - BAY SHORE effed up my photos!!

1 roll is missing, and I got doubles of the other.

Four rolls were dropped off yesterday. I went back 2 hours after they were supposed to be ready, and the girl tells me they were having trouble with the machine .. so I ask .. is my film going to be okay .. she says yes .. they just couldn't gets prints for 1 roll .. but would have them tomorrow (meaning today).

Hubby got them .. and I just found out it's a dupe of a roll I picked up last night! But of course, now I have to agonize all night, til they're back in tomorrow morning to answer my questions.



Isn't there anyone on Long Island who can develop film without f-ing it up???!!!!

(By the way .. NO .. I did not ask for double prints).

Okay .. so the more I think about it .. the more I'm wondering .. what the he!! were they doing with 2 sets of negatives for the same roll of film?? Even when you get double prints, you don't get double negatives.

And these were anniversary pictures they messed up!

I hope it's just a mix up and that you're pictures are there tomorrow.

I would ask them about the duplicate negatives, that is pretty strange.

CVS in CI is horrible too. I was out on LI for a few hours and brought mmy roll there for '1 hour' (it was the first pix of my new puppy) anyway he's like 'u want 1 hour?' and i said 'yes' and he said 'ok theyll be ready in 4 hours' im like 'O-Kayyyyy'.. Fine.. so i go back and theyre STILL not done. He said come back in 30 mins.. ok so i did.STILL not done. Fine, they forgot about them cuz when he saw me he ran and they did them RIGHT THEN. Well, he shouldnt have done that because not only did they come out SUPER dark (practicaly black) they were advantage and they ALL came out the HUGE size! I NEVER went back there again. Eckerds in Elwood has always been ok though.

lolita4life - I can totally relate .. the only reason I dropped the film at this place was because I need to go to that shopping center .. so I figured since I'm there .. I'd use them .. I should have trusted my gut and gone to the little shop in Lindenhurst that I used the past few times.

When I went in with the film .. I figured .. I'm getting 1-hour developing .. knowing 4 rolls would most likely need more time than 1 hour .. but didn't figure it was going to be as long as it was .. when the guy said 3 hours .. I should have taken the film back .. the crew obviously changed from when I dropped the film off, to when I went back .. sigh .. this is really so upsetting.
