REALLY unique wedding favors

REALLY unique wedding favors

FH and I are looking for really unique wedding favors. We're buying vintage postcards for the note, rather than having little poems made (we did this for save the dates too), and we'd like favors that are unique too. I saw chocolate placecards that would have been cool, but they are $25 each!

Any ideas. FH was going to have a printer we know, our photographer, and a graphic designer hook up to make very real 1969 style rookie baseball cards, and we're doing a donation. But, the rookie cards are too much $ and very difficult...w/only 55 days left, plus they are wasteful.

HELP!

P.S. We'd really like something useful or edible. We can spend up to $6-8 for the total favor.

This site has some cute things...I like the 'box' with the B & G initials that slides open to reveal Belguim chocolate...and the Choc wine bottle filled with cordials is unique.

You can do the cookie seating cards they are really nice and the cookes taste good too.

This is one place that does it. There are many more.

Or a plant with a the seating card placed in it. Plants are great because they last.

Just some ideas.

My friend bought terra cotta garlic roasters. they were not big about 4 inches in diameter and about 4 or 5 inches high. I can find out where they got them if you would like, but they have been married 9 years so they might have forgotten..

I did bottles of olive oil infused with rosemary-which I put together myself.
I purchased the bottles wholesale along with the cork tops and shrink wrap seals. They came out looking professionally done and it only cost us about $200.
Let me know if you want more info!
