His pics in your album are totally adorable; my advice would be to contact your nearest no-kill shelter, he is adorable and assuming he's healthy and non-agressive, they can find a good home for him. Unfortunately, there odds are slim that you'll get any money back for him; most folks looking to buy a dog will want to buy a brand new puppy. But why not think about hiring a dog trainer, a few sessions and some new rules (for both of your babies!) can work MIRACLES!!! I started my puppy off with at-home training sessions (about 8 or 10 times I forget) - it was the best investment i ever made, she's part of the family and behaves really WELL!!! Best of luck!!
He's so cut e I wish i could take him, but my parents would kill me.

Is your puppy a maltese/yorkie? Do you mind me asking why you want to get rid of him? Is he misbehaving?
how old is he? I have a yorkie-poo ( a female) and we have been thinking of getting another dog to add to the family.
I would definitely love to put my bid in, But we are leaving for Greece in 2 weeks and not returning until August 17th :(

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be careful who you 'sell' him or give him to-- and if you don't find anyone to take him into their home PLEASE take him to a non-kill shelter.
He looks adorable and my heart breaks when people have a difficult time with training or adjusting and then give up... I have a dog already and we live in a small place otherwise I would take him.
Post something on craigslist or petfinder?? Ask your local shelter for help??
Just please don't give up on him and don't get frustrated- give it time and find him a good home who will take the time to be patient and train him and raise him-- puppies are work and it is not easy so someone just needs to give him time, love and patience.

DON'T USE PETFINDER! We had a cat who had serious health issues (he had irritable bowel and some sort of chronic bacteria in his intestines - he essentially couldn't control any sort of bodily fluid and did EVERYTHING all over the house. it was really sad) anyway, my Mom couldn't take care of him anymore and thought about using Petfinder. The vet warned her about it, that people will send you emails saying things like 'you've answered all my prayers - i need a new friend' but they really use the animals for fighting and other nasty things. Low and behold, less than a few hours after my Mom posted on petfinder, her inbox was inundated with the exact emails the vet warned her about and it freaked her out.
I mean, it's possible that you might be able to find someone who's legit, but I'd be really wary.
Regardless, I really hope you're able to find him a good home and I'm sorry your child doesn't like him

Re: Really upset but no other choose
Have you tried obedience or other classes? Is you son afraid of him? Or is he jealous? It's odd that a child of that age would just not like an animal. What do you mean that your son just 'isnt' taking' to him? If the dog is aggressive with your son, he can be trained--besides, he is still very young, a puppy, really.
I'm sorry, but I hate hearing stories like this. A dog is a serious responsibility, he's a member of your family. Your son might also not deal well with the dog being gone, you know. He may not have liked him all that much, but kids that age need stability and if the dog is suddenly gone, it might make him upset, make him worry that he could be given away too.
If you do need to give up the dog, it's much better to find a loving family or person who can take care of him then get back some of your money. I know it's a lot of money, but as people have said, awful things happen to dogs out there. Contact Maltese and Yorkie rescue, they're organizations run by people who love the breeds, and love dogs, and they won't steer you wrong.
Good luck.

i totally second this!!!!! I have 2 dogs.. 1 who is just over a yr and 1 who is 3 months.. both rescues and its the best thing i ever did~ My 3 month old pup is no where near as easy to train or as well behaved as the first is totally food obsessed (being a collie./lab mix.. makes it more difficult) but we are working with him every day, have graduated puppy class with him and he is getting better slowly everyday~!! If you have the time or put even a little bit of time in every day it makes a big difference. If you can't give that much time to work with him..PLEASE PLEASE be careful who you go to. Watch craigslist cause some people are not so honest on there.. but look up local no kill shelters and breed rescues.. i have a list someplaces i can FM you if youd like~!!??? I think one place called posh pups??? in NYC takes all designer dogs and little dogs... I'll look them up again. I would sooo take him if i didnt have 2 dogs and cat already.. but if you have no luck finding a home for him..LET ME KNOW! good luck
