Reason why i stay clear away from Bridal Shows or Expos....

Because they are huge scam. Like most expos they are there to sell sell sell and are good and having you open up your wallet.

Ladies: Be aware about how much information you give away at these things. For example, Its kinda like if you signed up for something that seemed to be 'to go to be true' on the internet and now your e-mail is riddled with spam and/or viruses.

I highly suggest you pick up the Bridal Bargains book. It has alot of information on ways to save and warns you about these shows

i agree! I went to one expo just to look around! BIG mistake. . . . . .I got calls for the next year from random people.

I AGREE. They sold my e-mail address to god knows how companies. So upsetting.

oh yea...i know the feeling...thats why i dont go to any besides the one at westbury manor b/c im going to use prob all of there vendors...but now my mail is blowing up with crappy mail

This is why you create an email junk account and anything you have to use your email, use the junk account. That's what I did here.

Phone number - opps did I accidently put the wrong number down my bad...

I totally get that, but that said LIW's show is not like that at all. It's a lot more personal, the vendors are more accessble and they don't ******** with your info. It's really a nice experience and a lot of people say it's the best shoe they've been to

I knew i was gonna get a ton of emails from vendors, so i made a whole separate GMail account just for the wedding. I also never give out my phone number!

I made a separate email, but I still get them on my iphone. It's still an awful thing that they do..

LIW's Shows (such as the Extravaganza) are not like that!!!

I always have Fun at the Bridal shows.....

Oh & if u dont want to get any information from them, then dont sing up to their 'newsletter'

I dont sign up to the ones I dont want...
Or just give my email address that I dont use that much
