I have much more than that for a BM and I have paid less. I think reasonable would be around 125-150

I think its a reasonable cost, but then again you know your BMs and their financial situations better than anyone else.

Our BMs paid $165 before alterations. That was about as cheap as I could find them while still going through a bridal salon.

I would feel bad asking a BM to pay more than $150...but thats just me!

I think around $150 is really reasonable. I was trying to stay around that amount.

But, all four of my BM dresses that I've bought have been over $200. As a bridesmaid i would expect to spend around $200.

150 dont forget they have to get alterations and shoes

I'd say $200 is fair and to be expected. I've been a BM a lot and the dresses were always $200+ before alterations.

I think 150 is good because alterations run 65+

I think my BM's paid just under $200 before alterations...

my girls had long dresses so i had them pick their own shoes, so they could choose the cost and style, etc.

I'd say $200 is a good expectation for a BM dress.
