Reasonable florist budget?

I have some florists I plan to visit but when they ask me what my budget is I can't really begin to think of a starting point.

This is what I need:
15-17 low centerpieces
1 bridal bouquet
1 MOH/3 bridesmaid bouquets
Groom/ 1 BM/3 groomsmen boutineers
2 father boutineers
2 mother bouquets (probably instead of corsages)
And maybe a few flowers at the church

What do you think's reasonable for this? I know flower choice changes price but just looking for a starting point.

Reasonable florist budget? - Long Island Weddings

This is what I had and it cost me a little over $2000 (I had to add centerpieces and I dont recall what they cost each)
16 centerpieces (3 cylinder vases with floating orchids and candles)
6 bridesmaid boq's
One bridal boq
7 groomsmen bout's
2 dad bout's
2 mom corsages

I used Black Dahlia florist and I had gerber daisies and roses for the boq's and spray roses for the bouts. Hope this helps, I don't think you would be more than $2000 depending on flower choices.

it depends. We are paying about 3500 for high-low alternating centerpieces, my bouquet, 8 BM bouquets, one groom and 6 groomsmen boutineers, 2 father boutineers, 2 mother corsages, and church flowers. we are doing 20 centerpieces and our bridal party is alot larger than yours, so i would say around 2000-2500. If you are planning on doing all high centerpieces it'll be higher

Thanks guys. In my head I was hoping $2000 would be max so hopefully we're right. I'm definitely open to most types of flowers so hopefully that will help keep the price low.

Probably around $2000 or maybe even a little lesser. I was on a strict budget for my flowers as well, and I'm going with Perfect Rose Florist in East Islip: they gave me more than I expected for my budget, and I'm very happy with my choice.

I love black dahlia. We booked almost on the spot! I called back later and booked. She was awesome and even put together samples while we were there. Not to mention we met her a earlier that week and the centerpieces she had at the event still looked amazing!

We are paying a little over $2k but we also have over 20 centerpieces and flowers for the church.

I don't know if it's the flowers I chose, but I feel like I'm paying a lot more than everyone else! I'm at 3k for my bouquet, 6 BMs, 9 bouts, 2 corsages, and 15 high centerpieces. I was quoted around the same by every florist (except 1, who was astronomical). Blahhhhhh.

This but with another florist... I'm paying at little less ($1400). Also see what your house vendor offers.

This! Sometimes smaller shops can really give more bang for your buck so I wouldn't rule them out. I was quoted less then 2k for similar needs.

I am alot higher too- it's probably because you're doing all high centerpieces. Also, if you are just doing those vases with the floating orchids and not doing full floral centerpieces then it's also cheaper. We are having 20 high-low alternating centerpieces but they have alot of flowers lol- plus my bouquet, 8 BMs, 9 bouts, 3 corsages, and church flowers at about 3500
