1. You can't walk on the street without seeing at least 2 other people wearing the same thing as you.
2. You buy something for $38 and the following week it is on sale for $19.99
3. That Madona and Missy Elliot commercial, as cute as it was to watch the first 30 times, it is played out a bit.
4. So sick of those navy blue plastic bags. God for bid your hands are sweating...you end up with blue dye all over you.

LOL. I love the gap although does it seem like their clothes are actualy smaller then they say IE: small is xSmall, extra large is large? I do agree with ure things though.

6. The dressing rooms look like a bomb hit it.
no matter what Gap I go into, the dressing room is always a disaster. The walls are filthy, the door locks are broken, etc...

I actually think that they're overpriced for what they sell... I'll go to H&M over gap anytime, if for no other reason but more stilish clothing

Bravo Kim! I'm cancelling my credit card with them as we speak. It's a total waste...their clothes SUCK now. You wash their t-shirts once and they get these little holes in them. Their turtlenecks ALWAYS get holes in the seams by the neck too!

I love the GAP!
For one - they always have staples that I wear all the time. There isnt another store in NYC that I can buy the same black tshirt or same turtleneck year after year and be happy.
I wear those turtlenecks EVERY SINGLE winter, all winter long and they look pretty good despite being tossed into the wash countless times. I wear them with suits or with jeans...they take me from October to April.
I dont think you go to the GAP for unusual stuff...you go for the basics.
But those missy elliot/madonna commercials are aweful. Sorry, you can use the word 'jeans' to rythm with 'jeans' without enraging me. Plus those jeans they are wearing are aweful looking!

I will admitt that I wear some of the pj's from the body section, and those fitted tanks aren't bad, but whether it is a staple or not, I hate sitting on the train and seeing a hand full of people wearing the same thing as me. You are right, a black turtleneck is a black turtleneck, but the ripped turtlenecks SCREAM GAP! JMO.
7. I have yet to find black shirt there that is BLACK, not a dark shade of grey.

ha! i was just in there today. i see what you mean about their clothes going on sale so quickly, but thas why i love them!! just bought a pair of capri blue pants for $12.99!! i know its the end of the summer, but i'll get another month out of them!
they have the cutest short sleeve sweater there now for $28. every color. for anyone who still shops at the gap, go see! you'll love them! (just avoid their messy dressing rooms!)

I used to love the Gap, and their jeans. I know the feeling of buying something and it goes on sale the next week. I HATE those jeans in the Madinna commercial

Gap jeans are the only jeans that fit me right - but no, I'm NOT talking about Madonna's, lol. Other than that, I don't buy much from them, except the occasional black or white t-shirt.

I am going to ditto that their clothes fade! Every single shirt I have bought there has faded within the first few washes and I really take care of all my clothes - Hand wash all my shirts. So shame on their quality!!!

The Gap is the only store I can shop for pants that are not too long. But I agree about your second item - it happens to me all the time! I always pay full price for something and find it on sale the next week!

you can get a price adjustment for those sale items - just bring your receipt to the sotre within 14 days and they'll give you a refund.
