RECALL!?

Fh got a letter in the mail saying his car is being recalled for a part in the engine. He drives a 2005 corolla.

I know they fix for free, but it's a big part they are talking about and it could take weeks, and FH needs a car. We can't afford to rent, does anyone know if they are supposed to give you a loaner for recalls? it's there mistake so I dunno why they wouldn't.

i think if it takes more than a day to fix it, then they need to give you a loaner ... but don't quote me on that.

that really stinks - recalls are such a PITA

my old car had a recall on the steering wheel, I never got it fixed. lol.

but damn. and my car is a lease so we can't be putting unnecessary mileage on it.
