Recently Engaged

Hi All,

I am recently engaged and have found this site to be such a help already. This is really exciting and I can't wait to get things started.

I was wondering as the planning begins, Have any of you hit any scheduling road blocks and feel that I should jump on something sooner rather than later? if so, please reply.

first off CONGRATS!! welcome to LIW

my advice is to make up a general guestlist so you know big your wedding is and get on the recption hunting. 2010 is booking and especially if you want 10/10/10..thats a popular date. then i would do photographer

Congrats and Welcome! I agree that if you want 10/10/10 as your date you should book asap...its a popular date and alot of RHs have been booking 2010 since last year. Good luck!

Congrats... Yeah this was the original date we were looking for, its a little more expensive since its a sunday on a holiday weekend, but at some places it was booked already and we were looking last winter and spring so definitely get on it ASAP
