Recently Engaged

Hi Everyone,

We just got engaged and we are planning a 2015 Wedding!

So far, we haven't set a date. We do know we will be having at least 200 guests.

Can you please share your quotes for 2015? This will really help out a lot in deciding when and where to have our wedding.

Congratulations and welcome!!! I don't have any quotes other than for timber point which holds just over 200.... But I would check out lands end in sayville, water mill, or any of the Lessings venues but not all of them can hold over 200... Good luck on the search!

I looked ay many places and it feels like forever ago I was looking for venues so I don't remember most of them anymore :/. here's what I can tell you, Sat night most expensive, then Fri night, then Sun night. after noons r even cheaper. dec, jan, feb cheapest month in some places nov and march are same price. June is prob most expensive.

with all that said I was looking for a march Friday night wedding is say the average cost was $65-$80 per person ++ (tax and service) cheapest place that wasnt an all inclusive place was sunset harbour patchgue they have several menus to pick from cheapest being $50++ then id say Westbury manor was about $75++, Atlantis aquarium was pprobably about the same.... the most expensive was jericho terrace they were$90++

if u want a list of the all inclusive package venues let me know I've looked at more of those then the others!

Congrats! What type of place are you looking for? I have a few quotes but all of my places are in Suffolk. Not sure where you are located...

And yes, time of year makes a huge difference! Seems like high season is May 1 - Oct 31 for most places!

I am biased but I definitely recommend checking out the Watermill - their downstairs room holds over 200 people and it is gorgeous there, any season. Winter time they will really work with your budget and the food is delicious!! FM me if you would like quotes - I have Sept and January quotes :)

I just recently booked a venue & was looking for 2015!! What venues were you looking at? I can probably FM you a quote for a few- I looked at probably 10-15 venues before finding my perfect fit :)
