Anyone have their reception at The Thatched Cottage? How was it?

I have been to soooo many RH is the past 6 months and we walked into the thatched cottage and just felt relieved. Its a gorgeous place....right on the water, all windows,and plenty of room. Its one wedding at a time. They have chefs that ocme out to deliver the food and drop all the food at the same time with the staf and they pop the champagne right after the speech, they do not pour before hand. I think they are very unique and different...it doesnt feel like a wedding factory. Frozen drinks is s nice touch and you get to choose 35 out of 50 ordourves. So much food. They also include a cooked sushi bar with a chef. They have a beautiful glass piano right when you walk in. I have heard nothing but good things. We are going back Sunday for a food tasting!

They can accomadate up to 325. But I wouldnt do more than 300..to make sure all guests are comfortable.

We are having 225 there. Ask for Toniann. She is awesome!
