Reception at Fox Hollow

i am having my reception on a sunday night at the fox hollow with the CH from 7:00 - 8:30. The reception ends at 12;30 AM .. i am little worried since it is a sunday night wedding & i do have some people traveling from NJ. Also, my parents are in their 70s & doubt they will last until 12:30.

My question is what time is cake usually served for sunday night weddings?? i guess they serve dinner at around 9:00 .. is 10:30 to early?? should i speak to the FH about maybe starting at 6:30 PM. i doubt they will if another wedding is going on or should i skip the extra half hour for the CH??

Thanks!

i don't think it's necessary to have that extra half hour for CH (hence it's called cocktail hour). definitely try to move it up an hour or so, that would definitely help especially for people who have to work the next day.

FH will work with you to develop a time table for all those events. You are paying lots of money to get married there, so things your way.

Definitely contact Fox Hollow and speak to them. Cake and dessert is usually served an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half before the reception ends.
