Confused about the wording. What are you using? Our cocktail hour is not immediately following the ceremony (an hour later) and at a different location.

Id like to know also. My church is 2:30, cocktail at 7. I need the exact wording to say 'cocktail hour begins at 7pm...bla bla'
but that doesnt sound right

i have seen;
-cocktails, dinner, and dancing at 7:00 -recpetion at 7:00 -cocktails and reception at 7:00
any other ideas?

Here is an idea that we had. Same situation....my church is at 3 and the reception starts at 7. I hope this helps. ~Tara

I usually see cocktails, dinner and dancing. I posted mine before, but I wanted to highlight that the cocktail hour starts at 6:30 so I showed that separately.

I just went to do invites the other day.
This is the wording for the reception card
Reception AT Six O'clock Jericho Terrace Mineola, New York
She said not to add street addressed b/c they are on the direction cards that get inserted in the enevolpe
I would leave it as simple as possible since people get confused very easly.
