Reception Card Wording-2 hour lag

My reception will be 2 hours after my ceremony. My mother is using her house to invite people during the wait. Cocktail hour at 6 and reception from 7-12. How do I word the recption card? My stationer suggested:
Please join us for Cocktails at 6:00, Reception to follow. I do not like the wording any suggestions???

On my reception card, I did not specify a difference between the cocktail hour and the reception. I also kept it really simple.

they don't need to knwo ther eis a coctail hour first--most people know that.

or dinner reception

or join us for dinner & dancing

What ar eyou doign for the gathering at you mom's house--just word of mouth?

We might be having something like that too, but at the Milleridge Inn, but I might be movignthe ceremony time & then we won't.

Pre-cocktail hour 5:30 pm
Cocktail hour 6 pm
with Dinner and Dancing to follow

My mother did it for my brothers wedding. Just word of mouth. She hires 2 people to come in set up coffee and drinks, very very light snacks, music. They clean up and lock up. My parents were not even there. Everyone basically arrives at the reception hall at the same time. Last time we had approx 70 people in the house. It really is a nice idea and the families get to spend more time together then they are all warmed up for dancing.
