Reception Cards

For my invites i'm trying to figure out the best wording for the reception... any ideas?

The reception will be immediately following the ceremony. The ceremony will START at 6:30pm... We are having wine and cheese starting at 6pm for anyone who arrives early. Ideally, I want everyone there on time for the ceremony. (my thoughts always are: if the reception follows immeditaly after the ceremony get your butt there and watch the bride/groom get married)

Sometimes when I see a wedding time you never know is that the start time or is there a cushion so no one shows up late....

I'm trying to incorporate the 'wine and cheese' at 6pm with ceremony at 6:30pm...

Sorry this is soo long... ugh

How's everyone else wording there reception cards, would you mention the wine/cheese prior to ceremony?

Hmm why don't you just make that start time on the invite 6pm and then say reception to follow. My brother is getting at his rh and he did this for his invitations. thats how I would do it.

Yea but what if people show us for earlier then 6 thinking thats when the wedding starts and they stand around for a half hour?

you could call it 'Hospitality' between 6-6:30

or Wine and Cheese begins at 6pm, be seated for ceremony promptly at 6:30pm
