Reception contract questions

We're 80% sure we're going to book tonight. We're going for our second visit there and bringing my mother so that she can see the hall before we book.

**What things should I make sure are specified in the contract?**

I understand the day and time, the minimum # of guests, all of the 'extras' he's thrown in for free as well as the things we are leaving out, and the payment terms.

What am I missing?

make sure that if they quote a specific price for anythig that you can decide on later that you get it in writing-

like drinks when you walk in-or anything that the price can fluctuate on...

If you are in a specific room its name and the times that it is yours
Cancellation Policy-head price and breakdown of costs-tax-service charge, etc.

Force Majeure clause...we have the following:

The parties' performance under this Agreement is subject to acts of God, war, government regulation, terrorism, disasters, civil disorder, medical crisis, curtailment of transportatin facilities and any other emergency beyond the parties' control, making it inadvisable, illegal or impossible to perform their obligatiosn under this Agreement. Either party may cancel this Agreement for any or more of such reasons upon written notice to the other, with all payments refunded.
