No, I'm spending way too much on my wedding dress not to get the full day out of it!!!

Re: reception dress
they are going to have to pry my dress off me. I can barely take it off at my fittings.

Re: reception dress
i spent to much money on my dress but i am worried i won't be able to dance well in a ball gown - and on the knot fashion show they showed some really pretty dresses that would be great as a reception dress

Re: reception dress
I was. I picked out a second plain dress because I was worried my big ballgown might be too hard to deal with.
I am really glad that I decided not to wear it. It takes time to change into it. Also, everyone wanted to see my dress up close. If I had changed, they would have never been able to.

Re: reception dress
I can see why in theory this could be a good idea, but they're going to have to pry that sucker off of me at the end of the night. You only get that one chance to wear your wedding dress!

Re: reception dress
Nope, my wedding gown will be my reception gown as well. Too much money was spent on it and alterations to not wear it the entire day.

Re: reception dress
in an asian culture, having more than one dress is a sign for wealth and status. it's silly - i know. i wore a red kapo and a white wedding gown. white wedding gown for what's 'normal' to me and the red gown for acknowledging my chinese heritage.
