FH is a dentist, so technically his title is 'Dr. xxx'. When we're announced (and on other wedding stationery, etc.) should we say 'Dr. and Mrs.'? Or just keep it 'Mr. and Mrs.'? Is it pretentious to say 'Dr. and Mrs.'?
TIA!

I don't think there is a rule - you do what you want.
If you want to be called 'Dr. & Mrs' go ahead - it's totally up to you.
Personally - I would like it to be Mr. & Mrs to symbolize the day...

Re: Reception entrance question
i would go for it and use Dr. and Mrs. my FH is a Captain and he wants us to be introduced as Captian and Mrs. they worked hard for these titles its a nice way to honor that i think. not pretentious at all.

Re: Reception entrance question
The way I see it - absolutely he busted a$$ to get the title but your wedding day isn't about that.
It's about the 2 of you coming together as Mr. & Mrs.
he is a docter everyday of his life but you only become Mr. & Mr.s once (WOW, was that a Hallmark moment or what?!?!? LOL)
Anyway, that's just my opinion.
