Planning a wedding is fun, but now I'm starting to think I may need a wedding planner only for the reception!! I have no idea what might work for an interactive reception. Even if it is different types of games or just one big ice breaker.

what do you mean by games? A lot of places do the dollar around the table to win the centerpiece... what exactly were you thinking?

Games such as miniature checkers or board games. Hmmmmmm games on the dance floor, such as ? Something fun.... For everyone

I never really heard of anything like that at a wedding...but if you want why don't you do some fun dances like...the dollar dance or paradise by the dashboard light? I think there will be enough to do between the drinks food and dancing that you don't need to do 'interactive games'
