reception hall availability

Is it really true that halls are already booked into 2003? Is this common?

reception hall availability

Not all halls are booked that far in advanced. You might find that some 3 day weekends and various holiday weekends go faster but Im sure not all of them are booked up into 2003 You should call around to some of the halls and find out what the availability is. Good Luck Lisa

reception hall availability

We looked in April of 2001 for our wedding in August of 2002 and a lot of dates were still available.

There are still dates available

I agree, some of the long weekends such as Labor Day might be booked but there are so many beautiful places to get married you will find what you are looking for.

reception hall availability

We looked the first weekend of May, 2000 for our April, 2001 wedding and found that some of our choice dates were taken, but there was something available at just about every place we looked. In a lot of cases, the Saturday night was booked, but they had afternoons, Fridays and Sundays available.

a friend of mine planned her august 2001 wedding in 3 months - you shouldn't have a problem, but you may not get your ideal date or hall, never hurts to ask though.
