My cousin just got engaged & are looking for an affordable but nice hall. They will probably only have between 75-90 guests. They are looking for a 2008 wedding. Any hall suggestions greatly appreciated!

Re: Reception Hall Help!
You can narrow down a bit from the following link.
I set it at 90 people but you can set more criterias and then ask for reviews.
'Affordable' means different things to different people. Does she have a price range in mind?
I'd look at Stewart Manor CC and also Douglaston Manor (they will have a smaller atrium room by that time that is going to be gorgeous!) The Club at the Metropolitan (not the Metropolitan) is good for about that size, but depending on what time of year and what day of the week you want, it can get pricier.

Re: Reception Hall Help!
We got married at the East Wind Country Gardens. They were very reasonable. I booked them in 2004 for my 2006 wedding and it was $64 per head + tax and gratuity. For a sunday evening we had to guarantee 100, but I know that sunday day you had to guarantee only 90. Prices change, so I would double check the price. We had a wonderful experience with them...I can not say one negative thing (see my review for details).

Swan Club is really pretty and accomodate smaller weddings.
I'm getting married at the Fox Hollow and their minimum is varies. Mine is 110 for a Sunday. Their prices vary but the fall is their 'busy' season.
