Reception Hall Help

Reception Hall Help

I am trying to help my friend who lives out of state find a reception hall for spring/summer 2012. She would really like a place that is either a hotel or next to a hotel because she wants to make it as convenient as possible for all of her out of town guests.

She has about 160 guests and would like ceremony outside, any suggestions?

Fox Hollow

Yeah, i suggested that. She called and they said the main ballroom has a min. of 200 and she would be perfect for the new room there but then she doesn't get to use the outdoor space for ceremony and cocktails.

i can't think of many other places on long island that have a hotel right next door

I don't know if its too far, but The Three Villge Inn has hotels on the grounds.

Allegria in Long Beach or Bridgeview Yacht Club

I know Chateau La Mer doesn't have a hotel right next door, but when you reserve rooms with the Courtyard in Farmingdale, they offer a free shuttle for guests.

Danfords Hotel and Marina in Port Jefferson.

Reception room is really nice, wasn't impressed with the outdoor ceremony spot. I think it’s 125 min.
