Hi Ladies... i am tossing and turning between Russo's on the bay and Caryle on the Green. Looking for an evening wedding in Oct 2008. I can afford a Sat nite at Russo and only a Sun nite at Carlyle. Any feedback would be great! Thanks a bunch ;)

I've been to a couple of affairs @ Russo's one of them being a wedding. It was georgous. Food was the best ever. I hope I get that much food for my wedding. FH cuz just had her wedding there last year. She came out of the floor for her main entrance. it was nuts. never been to Caryle, but plan on looking!

What is more important to you - the day of the week or the place? My wedding is on a Monday (Labor Day) since it was more important to me to have to hall I wanted than a Saturday night.

I've been to both and both are excellent but each has a different theme and decor. The food at both places is great, along with the service and the presentation.
Personally, I prefer Carlyle. Russo's although fabulous is not my taste for decor. Carlyle's setting with the golf course and such is up my alley.
I wouldn't care about the day of the week.

i have never been to Carlyle. . .but I have been to a bunch of stuff at Russo's and honestly, you just cant go wrong - the food is amazing!
but like the other girls mentioned you have to think of what day you want it and the location of each place!

That's a tough call. Both have great reputations. I know personally that Russo's is always amazing. But you can't go wrong either way.
