I am looking for a hall where I can have ceremony and reception at the same place, outdoor picture ability or place nearby to take pictures. We are looking at possible guest list between 200-225 people and are crossing our fingers not to pay more than 95pp if possible for a wedding anytime between Aug-October 2008, open to Friday night wedding.
We live in the Bronx, if the place is in LI its not a problem but would rather in 516 area code
that really is a great help and the prices are pretty accurate. but u never know sometimes there a little off.. so if u see something that you like try and check it out.. also make sure you check out alot of places.. i tought i had fell in love with the 1st place we went im glad i didnt settle.. cuz the last palce we went to that we thought we wouldnt liek.. is the palce we loved the most and ended up bookin!

Re: Reception Hall Help on a budget
I would like to recommend Fox Hollow. Sept. and Oct. is their busy season but a sunday affair would be within budget. But august is surprisingly affordable. I know they just came out with the 2007 prices so I can't give you an exact quote.
we have jericho terrace it was 107 pp for a friday night w/tax and everything they are in mineola

ETA: I'm a sunday night and I got $85++ They have a room to accomodate you and they also keep brides separate. Each room has a seperate garden for pictures. Alot comes with the price. Including ceremony room decorations.

Re: Reception Hall Help on a budget
well, friday night is cheaper than sat. so thats a plus however, september and october are more expensive can you change your month??
hi we booked at the brentwood country club it included everything here is a basic breakdown of what we are getting 1. all of the flowers for the wedding party as well as the parents and centerpices for 10 tables 2. dj service 3. 2- 6 passenger limos for 3 hours 4. all your pics including albums for boith sets of parents and our selves as well 5. videography including dvd copies for you and both sets of parents 6. 75 thank you and 75 invitations directions and table placements so we got all that for only 10,995 we couldnt beat it. the place is really nice and there is a beautiful outdoor reception area and great picture spots. they are now just started building as of january a beautiful out door/ indoor area for coctail hour. but the catch is you have to garantee at least a 100 person minimum. hope this was helpful oh yeah and anothet thing was each additional guest is 70 dollars pp and you do not have to pay for your vendor meals either

Thanks for your advice guys. The choosing of the month is actually the only thing FH will end up being involved in lol. It is actually our ten (yes 10) year anniversary month and he really wanted to try for then. Once we visit places I think he will start to listen to me. I am definitley going to visit Fox Hollow.

Try Bridgeview Yacht Club. It's in Nassau County and it's on the water. For a Friday night in the summer of 2008, they wanted $95 pp + tax. The food is really good too.
