FH and I had wanted to check out Verdi's in Westbury and we drove by and got a weird vibe when waiting for someone to meet with us and just left without ever meeting with someone.

Sand Castle <~~ My Number one choice LOL

But, I liked Vientian Yatch Club too in Lindenhurst that would have been out 2nd Choice..

I went to an affair at Verdi's and the food was terrible. Maybe it was a bad day there or something. CLM is very nice, and the food is great, but my heart is with my hall, The Sandcastle, and the food is DYNOMITE

I went to look at Chateu La Mer. it's nice, but I personally didn't love the fact that your room overlooked a parking lot on one side, and people can totally see your guests eating dinner. They only had one small bar in the main room I looked at. I loved that it had an outside that overlooked the ocean. And the cocktail room was pretty nice too. It all depends on your own preferences, but I wanted something more elegant than that.

I DONT WANT TO OVER LOOK A PARKING LOT..........DOES IT HAVE A WOW FACTOR WHEN YOU LOOK AT IT???

CLM is very pretty, great view (but of course I am going to say the view at Venetian Yacht Club is THE BEST )

I went to Verdi's for a sweet 16 a few years back. It's great for a smaller party but definitely lacks a WOW factor.

I booked CLM. You can barely see the parking lot from the room and the view is stunning. They've done a ton of renovations recently and the place looks great. You get soooo much for your money and the food is fantastic. Def take a look -- it cant hurt.

I looked at CLM and did not notice that the main room overlooked a parking lot. I liked that it had really high ceilings/big windows overlooking the bay and that the room was big.The price quote I got was very reasonable for the amt of food.

I've been to Verdis, not sure about the rates but the food and service were very good!

I went to check out Verdis. Its a very nice place. You get alot for your $, prices are very good. We were quoted $60 pp for a Sunday night in Sept. However the only drawbacks were: On the main floor there is only 1 bathroom (1 co-ed individual toilet). The rest of the bathrooms were downstairs. The cocktail is also downstairs, which wouldn't have been a problem, but there is no elevator. That wouldn't have worked for me since I have some elderly people who have canes and have trouble walking.
