Do you think it's too early to start looking at reception halls for a June 2006 wedding?

Don't at all. I got engaged in Feb 2002 and started to look right after that and I am getting married this Sept. So I booked my hall 2 1/2 years before my wedding. IMO, if you book early, you get first choice of certain rooms and you pay 2004 prices not 2005 or 2006 prices.

It is never to early to start looking. At least you can see ALOT and make good choices.

I don;t know about too early.. I already have two friends that are booked for 2006... One in May and another in June.

I think we are going to start looking this weekend at a few places. At least we can get an idea of the prices.
