Reception Hall Quotes

I am new to this website, we are just started to get information to put together a list of places we want to start looking at.

Does anyone have quotes for reception halls, we are thinking Oct/Nov of either 2010 or 2011.

Online I liked Crestwood Manor, Old Field Club and Atlantica.

I know that Louis, closed down and is now Lombardos by the Bay in Patchogue.

Any quotes you ladies could share would really help!

Thank you!

on this site there is a chart that comes up when you are looking for vendors (don´t remember exactly how I found it). It gives you a price range per person. I dont think its updated because the prices I got on the phone were slightly higher but at least it gives you a starting point. You can look at the places within your price range and call them up. I didn´t talk to any of the places you mentioned. What is your price range and ideal setting for a wedding?

I am looking for under $120 including tax and grat, I want a location that does one wedding at a time, that we can get married outside (but a back up if it rains). i love the idea of a beach for pics but my FH does not want to get married on one =(

Not sure if this helps...but, we were quoted about $140 pp (if I remember correctly) for May 2010 at the Old Field Club. The fall (as you are looking at) would be cheaper though.

I checked out Atlantica for October 2010 -
It was about $130 pp and you didn't get much. You could upgrade to a better package - if you want the over the typical LI cocktail hour plus all the extras it was more like $160 pp (imagine how much it is in the summer!)
I will tell you though- it is the most beautiful ballroom I have ever seen.
Oh, and it only has room for about 200 people.

I would check out Lombardi's on the Bay (the old Louis). You can get married on the beach and it is in your price range (right around the $120 pp mark) - and remember- haggle the hell out of them! LOL

Re: Reception Hall Quotes

We're getting married in Oct, and Nov is around the same price since we're getting married during the day on Saturday. Vineyard Caterers prices range from $85-$110 pp, and you get to about the $110 pp with tax and grat. if you're given the $85 rate. If you are having the ceremony on site it's an extra $750. I def. recommend them, they've been a pleasure to deal with so far, and the location is absolutely gorgeous! I'll certainly have more info after my wedding of course, but they have been wonderful thus far and I've never heard any negative reviews!

Do you know where you want to get married? Nassau/Suffolk etc. That might help narrow it down. I know its very overwhelming!

Try Hamlet Willow Creek in Mt. Sinai. Not sure what the rates are for next year but I got it for under $100 this year.

My wedding is Nov 2010 at Giorgio's. The grounds are beautiful and it is one wedding at a time. I am paying $156 including tax and gratuity for a Sat night. Fri and Sun will be less. And I did hear they lowered prices, so you might be able to get a Sta night for less. You never know

Re: Reception Hall Quotes

The only one I've seen is Crestwood Manor - they quoted $85 pp before tax&grat, and $100 pp if you want the venetian hour & some extras :) [that was for fall '11]

They have a coupon going around. you get 20% off the per person price at timber point. However they can only hold small weddings.
