My sister in law just got engaged and is having a hard time finding a reception hall. She lives in NJ, and we are looking for a reception hall that has a view of the Manhattan skyline. She is open to NY venues also. So far we have looked at The Chart House in Weekawken, which she loves but the price per person isn't so great for what she would be getting and they only have friday nights. Liberty House is out of her price range even in the off season. Does anyone have any other ideas that we haven't thought of?

She should definitely check out the W Hotel in Hoboken. It opens at the end of March and would be perfect. THey're finishing building it right now.

For a NYC place with views that is reasonable, try Manhattan Penthouse...

I second Bridgewaters. It's in the Seaport and the place is beautiful with outstanding food and service.

Hello, I'm not used to being on these forums, I usually use liweddings for my wedding website and check out some halls. My fiance and I plan on checking out the Terrace on the Park and I had seen that you posted a reply saying it has an amazing view and is cheap... what is cheap? Under $100/pp under $150/pp??
we live out in suffolk and he does not want to drive all the way out to queens to be given a number that is just too much.
